Th-eee sun has got his hat on, hip hip hooray

Thu Jun 25, 2009, 12:12 PM
Excited about it being summer :)
Though the sun should wear his hat in winter, probably?

I thought I'd update this seeing as I am generally summer-cleaning the deviantart stuff...going slowly downwards from 288 deviations and 90 messages...I wish I could just press 'select all', 'delete', but if I could do that I wouldn't watch the people I watch. This mountain of stuff is far too interesting.

I'm also summer-cleaning the room, which is going even more slowly, and I'm trying to do it before going to Scotland - wohoo, scotland! for pretty walks and photos and talking and hopefully writing. I wrote something today! A whole poem. for the first time when not on a course in AGES (not including streams of conciousness and similar things without thought-out ideas). Time has finally fallen upon me a little.

(actually this is wrong. I wrote a limerick on monday. monday was magic =D has been a good week)

I'd like to post ome writing at some point, it's just wondering what writing to post. Maybe I'llput some photos up instead sometime to put it off

  • Mood: Thanks
  • Listening to: coldplay - I'm reawakening old loves atm :)
  • Reading: mainly poetry, also the irresistible revolution.
  • Watching: notalot.
  • Playing: musical room tiying :P
  • Eating: slowly chomping through monday's pudding mass XD
  • Drinking: agua, as always

No problem, and yeah fair point, I was just a little stuck how to say what I liked about it. I'll go have a re-read and see if I can translate it into words for you.

swallow purple terra candy, don't forget to breathe
sickened by the wanting and drowning from the need
so raise your glass to sorrow and drink to all the pain
tie a silver ribbon around the pieces that remain
